Ingredients
- 1 cup Margarine (or butter)
- 1/2 tsp Almond Extract
- 3/4 cup Powdered Sugar (sifted)
- 2 cups Flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt (optional)
- 1 cup Quaker Oats (uncooked)
- 1/2 cup Almonds (finely chopped)
- Powdered Sugar (for topping)
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Step 2:
Beat margarine and almond extract until fluffy; gradually beat in sugar.
Step 3:
Add combined flour and salt; mix well. Stir in oats and almonds.
Step 4:
Shape to form crescents. Place on un-greased cookie sheet.
Step 5:
Bake 15-18 minutes or until light golden brown. Sift powdered sugar over warm crescents. Makes about 4 dozen.
