Ingredients
- 1 and 1/2 cups Chicken Broth
- 3 tbsp Teriyaki Sauce
- 2 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1/8 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
- 1/2 lb Chicken Breast (skinless, boneless – cut into 1/2 inch strips)
- 1 clove Garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp Canola Oil (divided)
- 1/2 lb Shrimp (peeled, deveined raw shrimp)
- 2 cups Broccoli (florets)
- 1 cup Mushrooms (fresh, sliced)
- 1 Red Bell Peppers (cut into strips)
- Chow Mein Noodles (or rice)
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1:
In a small bowl, blend broth, teriyaki, cornstarch and red pepper; set aside.
Step 2:
In large skillet, stir-fry chicken and garlic in 1 Tbsp. oil for 2 minutes. Add shrimp and stir-fry 2 to 3 minutes, or until chicken and shrimp are cooked; remove.
Step 3:
Stir-fry broccoli, mushrooms and red bell pepper in remaining oil about 2 to 3 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
Step 4:
Stir reserved broth mixture into vegetables. Heat, stirring until thickened.
Step 5:
Return chicken and shrimp to skillet; heat. Serve over noodles or rice.
