By: Marie DePadova • In: Desserts and Baking • Cuisine: American

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Rice (cooked, of your choice)
  • 3 cups Heavy Cream
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon (or more if desired)

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1:

Add rice and heavy cream to a large saucepan and combine.

Step 2:

Add sugar, salt, vanilla extract and cinnamon. Mix thoroughly.

Step 3:

Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat. Stir often to prevent the rice from sticking to the bottom of the saucepan.

Step 4:

Reduce heat to low to simmer the mixture for about 10 minutes. Stir occasionally.

Step 5:

Refrigerate the rice pudding overnight and serve chilled.
