Meatballs and Sausage Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Italian Meatballs (precooked, can use home made or frozen meatballs)
  • 2 lbs Italian Hot Sausages (or mild if desired)
  • Pasta Sauce (homemade preferred)
  • Mozzarella Cheese (shredded)
  • Romano Cheese (grated, or parmesan)

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1: 

Defrost meatballs and pasta sauce if frozen, or make fresh (see recipes for each).

Step 2:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 3:

Brown sausage in a frying pan using olive oil. When cool cut into 2 inch pieces.

Step 4:

Arrange meatballs and sausage in a casserole dish. Top with sauce and sprinkle mozzarella cheese and Romano cheese on top.

Step 5:

Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes until cheese melts and the casserole is heated through.
