This was one of the recipes given to us by our family in Australia when they were visiting us in the United States.
Ingredients
- 1/2 oz Butter
- 9 oz Mascarpone Cheese
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)
- 1/4 cup Walnuts (chopped)
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black Pepper
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1:
Melt butter in a saucepan, before slowly stirring in the Mascarpone Cheese.
Step 2:
Heat gently until the sauce is smooth, and if necessary, add a little milk to give the sauce a smooth creamy consistency.
Step 3:
Stir in walnuts and Grated Parmesan Cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4:
Serve hot with fettuccini or tagliatelle.
