Cheese Cake with Graham Cracker Crust

Ingredients

Crust

  • 1 and 1/4 Cups Graham Cracker Crumbs
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Butter (softened)

Base Filling

  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 24 oz Cream Cheese (softened)

Top Filling

  • 16 oz Sour Cream
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1: 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2:

Combine the ingredients for the crust and press into a 9 inch spring form pan.

Step 3:

Beat the ingredients for the base filling for 20 minutes at moderate speed. Pour into the 9 inch spring form pan and bake at 350º for 45-50 minutes (or until center is set). Cool 15 minutes.

Step 4:

Mix together the ingredients for the top filling. Pour over the baked and cooled mixture. Return to the oven for 10 minutes. Chill at least 24 hours before serving. Top with fruit sauce if desired.
