Butter Cream Icing

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 1 stick Butter
  • 1/2 cup Crisco
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1: 

In a saucepan over low heat mix flour and milk. Cook until thick, then cool.

Step 2:

Cream sugar, shortening, butter, and vanilla with mixer for 10 minutes until light and fluffy.

Step 3:

Blend in cooled flour mixture.
