Austrian Form Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb Sweet Butter (or margarine)
  • 1 and 1/3 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 and 1/2 cups Flour
  • 1 cup Walnuts (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1: 

Cream the butter, sugar and egg in a mixing bowl.

Step 2:

Mix in the remaining ingredients. Refrigerate for 2 hours.

Step 3:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 4:

Press the dough into metal molds or make 1 inch balls. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly brown, approximately 15 – 20 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar while warm.
