Italian Anisette Biscuits

Ingredients

For Cookie Dough

  • 1 cup Canola Oil
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 4 tbsp Vanilla Extract
  • 6 Eggs
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 8 cups Flour
  • 6 tbsp Baking Powder
  • 2 cups Sugar

For Icing

  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 10 tsp Water
  • 2 tsp Anise Extract

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1: 

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2:

Mix oil, milk, vanilla, sugar; add eggs, beat well.

Step 3:

Add dry ingredients.

Step 4:

Spoon on to greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 15 minutes at 375 degrees until set and slightly golden on bottom (do not brown on top).

Step 5:

While still warm dip top of cookie into icing; add colored sprinkles on top. Yield: 10 dozen
