Sour Cream Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks Butter
  • 3 cups Sugar
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 3 cups Flour
  • 6 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1: 

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Step 2:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the butter and sugar and cream together.

Step 3:

Add the sour cream and mix until incorporated.

Step 4:

Sift the baking soda and flour together. Add to the creamed mixture alternating with eggs, beating each egg one at a time.

Step 5:

Add the vanilla and pour the mixture into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake for 1 hour 20 minutes.
