Ingredients
- 1 qt Milk
- 3/4 cup Cream of Farina
- 1 peel Lemon Zest
- 1 peel Orange Zest
- 2 tsp Sweet Butter
- 2 Egg Yolks
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- Powdered Sugar
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1:
Boil milk with sugar, lemon and orange peels. Add farina and stir using a whisk. Lower heat and continue to cook for 3-4 minutes or until thickened.
Step 2:
Remove from stove and add egg yolks vanilla and butter. Stir until well blended.
Step 3:
Pour on a greased cookie sheet and let cool. When cooled, slice into one inch strips and cut diagonally for diamond shapes. Sprinkle with confectionery sugar and serve.
