This was an excellent and super easy appetizer to make. One of the nice things about it is that you can scale it easily for as little or as much as you would like to make.

I used freshly grated Romano Cheese and thick bacon. The pack of bacon that I used contained slices that were about half as long as a regular slice of bacon. I only needed to cut it down the middle to separate each slice into two strips.

I lined the baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup. Since I was using thick bacon my cooking time was longer. I had to cook it for 20 minutes instead of 10.

These came out very tasty and had just the right crispy texture. I think this is a recipe you could experiment with if you wanted to. You could try different cheeses or different kinds of sauces/dips to have with them.
