Steak alla Siciliana

Ingredients

  • Sirloin Steak (or T-bone or shell steak)
  • 1 to 2 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp Oregano
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper
  • Red Wine Vinegar
  • Olive Oil (optional)

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1: 

Place steak in a baking dish just large enough to accommodate meat to be cooked.

Step 2:

Cover with garlic, oregano, salt and pepper. Pour enough wine vinegar over the meat to cover the bottom of the dish for approximately 1/4 inch.

Step 3:

Marinate for at least 1 hour at room temperature, turning meat every 20 minutes.

Step 4:

Place baking dish in the broiler and broil for 5 to 7 minutes on each side.
