Ingredients
- 4 oz Unsweetened Chocolate
- 6 Eggs
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 cups Heavy Cream
- 3 tbsp Rum
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1:
Melt chocolate in a double boiler.
Step 2:
Separate eggs. Beat the eggs yolks until thick and lemon colored. Add sugar gradually while beating. Stir in melted chocolate.
Step 3:
Beat the egg whites until a stiff peak forms. Whip the cream. Fold both into chocolate mixture and blend well. Add the rum if you wish.
Step 4:
Spoon into a two quart bowl or parfait glasses. Chill at least four hours. Garnish with whipped cream and serve.
