Ingredients
First Layer
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 4 Eggs (beaten)
- 1 cup Flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Chocolate Syrup
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Second Layer
- 2 cups Powdered Sugar
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 4 tbsp Cream de Menthe
Third Layer
- 1 cup Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
- 6 tbsp Butter (or margarine)
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1: First Layer
Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, flour, salt, chocolate syrup and vanilla. Mix and bake in 9×13 (greased) pan at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes.
Step 2: Second Layer
Mix confectioners sugar, 1/2 cup butter and crème de menthe and spread over cooled cake.
Step 3: Third Layer
Melt chocolate chips and 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine. Let cool slightly and spread over brownies. Chill and cut into squares.
