Steps

1
Done

Trim fat from spareribs, place ribs in a shallow glass baking dish - one level. Mix all marinade ingredients in a bowl and pour over the pork. Make sure all surfaces of each piece of bank of ribs is covered with the marinade. Let stand 2-3 hours at room temperature, turning ribs over once or twice during this period.

2
Done

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

3
Done

Place one oven rack as close as possible to the top of the oven. Line a roasting pan with aluminum foil. Add water to a depth of about 1/2 inch. Place pan with water on bottom rack.

4
Done

Pull top rack partially out of the oven. Drain ribs and push one or 2 "S" hooks into top of each bank of ribs. Hang the other end of the hooks onto top rack, keeping the ribs spaced. Push top rack back into oven. The ribs should be hanging over the water filled pan. Close oven and cook at 375º for 45 minutes. Cut into separate ribs and serve hot.

5
Done

Can be made the day before: Take out of refrigerator, bring to room temperature. Cut into separate ribs and put in a pre-heated broiler for 5 minutes.
