1 cup Brown Sugarfirmly packed light brown sugar

3/4 cup Sugar

4 Eggs

1 lb Carrotspeeled and shredded (about 4 and 1/2 cups)

1 cup Walnutschopped

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. |

Grease and flour 13x9x2 baking pan. |

Stir together first 7 ingredients in medium size bowl. |

Beat together butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar in large bowl until fluffy. |

Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. |

Beat in flour mixture until blended. |

Stir in carrots, walnuts and raisins. |

Spoon batter into prepared pan. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center of cake comes out clean. |

Cool in pan on wire rack 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack. |

Top with cream cheese frosting. Wrap and keep refrigerated. |
