Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls and then flatten slightly. Moisten hands periodically with water to prevent meat mixture from sticking to hands. Fry in olive oil, turning to brown on all sides. Yield: 10 to 15 meat balls. Meat balls may be frozen individually and placed in a plastic container or bag in freezer for 6 months or more. May be heated in oven or microwave and eaten as is or may be added to meat sauce for pasta with meat balls. |
